SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man – with a long history of stalking young girls is back behind bars.
79-year-old Vern Hennings is in the Minnehaha County Jail. He’s accused of exposing himself to a child near a central Sioux Falls elementary school.
We first told you about Hennings in 2011, that’s when he was charged with raping a young girl, and soliciting multiple girls outside a Sioux Falls middle school.
He ended up pleading guilty to sexual contact with a child and all of the other charges were dismissed.
Hennings got out of prison in 2022 and is still on parole.
We’ll take a look at the new accusations and his criminal history later Wednesday night on KELOLAND News.
