The Tennessee Titans were back on the practice field on Wednesday morning while also welcoming a new face to the team.
Safety Quandre Diggs, who signed a one-year deal with the Titans earlier this week, practiced with his new teammates for the first time.
The 31-year-old will wear No. 26 with Tennessee, last worn by cornerback Kristian Fulton, and he will be on a “pitch count” while he ramps things back up. His availability for Saturday’s preseason game remains unknown.
Diggs comes to the Titans having amassed 580 tackles, including 15 tackles for loss, 24 interceptions, and 56 pass deflections through his first nine years in the NFL.
He is expected to be the starting safety opposite Amani Hooker in Week 1.
Here is a look at Diggs practicing with the Titans for the first time.
