BRANDON, S.D. (KELO) — The City of Brandon is issuing a water usage emergency, requesting residents not use any water until further notice.
In a post on Facebook, the City of Brandon requested that citizens to not use water, citing a major equipment failure at the city’s water treatment plant.
The public works crew is working on correcting the problem.
No lawn watering will be allowed until further notice and restriction on other water usage when possible is strongly advised.
Residents could experience low water pressure or slight discoloration of the water.
