INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Transportation: East Central has confirmed that Interstate 465 has reopened on Sunday after three weeks of road maintenance.
According to a Facebook post from INDOT East Central, I-465 between I-65 and I-70 is now open. In the post, they thanked their crews for working hard, including in the early morning hours, to complete the project.
The reopening happened a day earlier than expected. Initially, INDOT reported that the interstate would reopen by Monday’s morning rush.
