STURGIS, SD (KELO) — We’re getting some of our first numbers related to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The City of Sturgis has issued 492 temporary vending licenses as of Saturday. That compares to 533 vendor licenses last year.
Ambulance calls from last Monday through Friday totaled 58. That’s up from 38 for the same time period last year.
Sunday’s rally events include a Medicine Wheel Ride from Bear Butte State Park. Registration is at 10 a.m. Mountain Time, with the ride starting at 12:30 p.m.
