PENNINGTON COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Wednesday night in Hill City.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says a motorcyclist was traveling east on Old Hill City Road when the driver lost control.
The motorcycle slipped on the right side and then flipped. The 60-year-old man was taken to a hospital where he died.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
There have been three deadly motorcycle crashes in the Black Hills this week ahead of the Sturgis Rally, which officially starts Friday.
