It was a stormy morning in northeastern KELOLAND. Just before 1:00 PM a report came in of a wind gust of 92 MPH in Hillhead in Marshall County. There is broken cloud cover around the area.


Jerry Wallenstein, 68, was driving his Chevrolet Silverado and traveling eastbound on U.S. Hwy 18 about five miles south of Lennox. That’s when Wallenstein’s truck collided with a motorcycle while entering the left turning lane and attempting to turn north on 466th Ave.


Authorities are responding to a standoff situation involving a woman who won’t come out of her house in southern Sioux Falls. 


A 53-year-old woman has died in a motorcycle crash in Lawrence County, after the driver lost control on a curve.


The pedestrian who was killed while walking along SD Highway 123 near Wilmot early Sunday morning has been identified.


A Sturgis man was sentenced to 65 years in prison after being convicted of 11 felony counts of crimes involving five children, according to the S.D. Office of the Attorney General.


An Ortonville, Minnesota man was in court yesterday for drug and theft charges in South Dakota.
