INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a man and woman were killed in a hit-and run crash Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 1:00 a.m., officers responded to the crash in the 3500 block of Lafayette Road on Indy’s west side.
Police said a man and woman were traveling on Lafayette Road when they were hit by a car. Both victims died from their injuries, according to police.
Investigators say the driver of the car fled the area before officers arrived on scene.
