INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a vehicle crashed into a home on Indy’s near northwest side Wednesday evening.
Firefighters with the Indianapolis Fire Department’s Collapse Rescue Team responded around 7:20 p.m. to the 1100 block of W. 35 Street after receiving reports that a car had crashed into the side of a residence in the area.
IFD said first responders arrived and found an unoccupied vehicle on the side of the home. IFD also confirmed the driver of the vehicle had fled the scene. The crash had displaced two people and two dogs.
IMPD is leading the investigation into the incident.
