SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Customers can take advantage of steep discounts during Summer Crazy Days in Sioux Falls. Stores are slashing prices to make way for their fall merchandise in downtown Sioux Falls, The Bridges at 57th Street and Lake Lorraine. Stores normally open on Sundays may extend deals through the weekend.
Celebrate National Ice Cream Day at the Washington Pavilion this weekend. Enjoy BOGO scoops of ice cream at the Parlour from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. There will also be ice cream-themed art and science activities at the Pavilion. The cost is a museum admission.
The Longley Foundation is hosting a Mental Health Fair during tonight’s free concert at Levitt at the Falls in downtown Sioux Falls. 15 non-profits will have tables set up on the Levitt lawn sharing information about health resources from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The music starts at 7 p.m. with opening act Humbletown. The headliner is Reverend Payton’s Big Damn Band.
The main stage performers at the Lifelight Hills Alive Christian music festival in Rapid City include Fountain Springs Worship at noon local time, Renee at 1 p.m., Social Club Misfits at 2:15 p.m., Stephen Stanley at 3:45 p.m., The Afters at 5 p.m. Unspoken at 6:30 p.m., speaker Jon Setzer at 8 p.m. and Danny Gokey at 8:30 p.m. Hills Alive is taking place in Rapid City’s Main Street Square.
The 605 Pop Culture Con is a benefit for Voices Against Cancer. It’s taking place at the Sioux Falls Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday’s hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks is celebrating Christmas in July at the Picnic Shelter at Hartford Beach State Park north of Milbank. There will be a campground Christmas decorating contest, plus s’mores and gingerbread houses. Activities begin at 11 a.m. A park entrance license is required.
Anglers of all ages are also invited to enjoy free fishing at Family Park in Sioux Falls from 9-11 a.m. All gear will be provided.
The final day of the Black Hills Corvette Classic in Spearfish includes both guided and self-guided tours of the Black Hills, a Dyno Challenge, a Corvette Showcase, a poker run and an awards banquet in the evening.

Farmers Market season in KELOLAND includes the Falls Park Farmers Market at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Brandon Farmers Market goes from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 925 North Splitrock Boulevard. The farmers markets are held each Saturday through October.
Beat the summer heat with a visit to one of the City of Sioux Falls’ outdoor pools. They’re located at Drake Springs, Terrace, Frank Olson, Kuehn, Laurel Oak, McKennan, Hayward and Pioneer parks. The hours are 1-8 p.m.
Another outdoor option is Wild Water West water park west of Sioux Falls. Visitors can enjoy the water slides, lazy river, wave pool plus upgrades to the mini-golf course from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
