The Tennessee Titans have a bunch of new faces on their defense in 2024, which is welcomed after the unit’s lackluster showing in 2023.
The most significant moves involved the signings of defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, and linebacker Kenneth Murray, the trade for L’Jarius Sneed, and the pick of nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat in the 2024 NFL draft.
The most recent addition the Titans made was the signing of veteran safety Jamal Adams. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport suggested that he could be moved to linebacker in Nashville, but that has not been confirmed.
With Adams now in the mix, we’re taking a look at an updated starting defense projection for Tennessee. Our projection includes 12 players to account for the nickel package. We still don’t know what base defense new defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson will run.
