ZIONSVILLE, Ind. — A 19-year-old man is being charged for child exploitation and possession of child pornography, a Level 6 Felony, after he reportedly uploaded four files of child porn to X (formerly Twitter).
According to court documents, following a search warrant issued on June 3, it was discovered that 19-year-old Grant E. Myers posted at least four videos depicting underage girls in sexually explicit scenarios to the social media platform.
On July 9, an application was granted to search Myers’ residence. Law enforcement state that, upon entering his house the following day, they discovered digital devices containing child pornography. Also discovered at the scene were several apparently used hypodermic syringes, empty vials of an unknown substance and alcoholic beverages. All of these items were seized.
Docs indicate that Myers denied uploading child porn to X. He claimed to have a Facebook and Instagram, but “…formerly had an X account”.
If convicted, Myers could face up to 2.5 years behind bars. His hearing is scheduled for Monday.
