300 S. Broad Street, Center City
After only operating at Kimmel for one year, this Jose Garces fixture decided to close its doors there for good this summer. But owner Ideation Hospitality says this closing doesn’t adversely impact the Garces Trading Co. location inside the Cira Center or other plans to expand elsewhere.

After 17 years in business, this once café mainstay of South Philly closed down for good in March after leasing/rent problems and a community crowdfunding campaign quickly cut its efforts to help save it.

For over 10 years, this popular spot for Southeast Asian noodle dishes with a Jewish culinary take has relocated from Center City to Fishtown before finally closing for good in June due to owners Shawn Darragh and Ben Puchowitz deciding not to continue with their lease.
Bing Bing Dim Sum

Owners Shawn Darragh and Ben Puchowitz also decided to close down their eclectic cocktail bar that served tasty house-made dumplings since 2015 in late July after a change in landlords.
