GREENFIELD, Ind. — A blaze involving a semi-truck broke out Thursday afternoon, according to the Greenfield Fire Territory.
Emergency crews were dispatched at 3:15 p.m. to the 2800 block of E 400 N on a report of heavy dark smoke coming from a field behind a residence.
Upon arrival to the scene, responders found a fully involved semi-fire.
Firefighters utilized grass rigs and mobile water supplies, or tankers, to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported. The surrounding structures were not directly impacted by the fire.
It is not immediately clear what started the fire.
