A 38 year old man from Pierre was charged with a Stop Sign violation after an accident around 7:30am yesterday (June 2, 2022) at the intersection of Pleasant Drive and Central Avenue.
Information from the Pierre Police Department says a vehicle operated by Jessie Hines failed to stop at a stop sign on Pleasant. His vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by a 35-year-old male from Pierre that was southbound on Central. That driver was transported to Avera St. Mary’s by AMR ambulance.
