NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — A police pursuit ended in a crash in Noblesville after officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Sunday, according to the Noblesville Police Department.
Officers initiated a traffic stop around 11:05 a.m. on northbound State Road 37 for expired license plates, but the driver reportedly refused to stop. The suspect traveled north on State Road 37, west on Cherry St, north on Cumberland Rd and pulled onto Queens Lane where they crashed.
The suspect fled on foot and has not been located.
The officer was treated for “minor” injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene.
