INDIANAPOLIS – A fire Indianapolis kept crews busy Thursday night.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, witnesses reported the fire around 8:10 p.m. at 230 W. Wyoming St. IFD received multiple 911 calls about the vacant two-story building located in the southern part of the downtown area.
Photos showed flames shooting from the top of the building, with firefighters using ladder trucks to extinguish them. IFD said the fire was under control in under an hour.
No injuries were reported.
While IFD is still investigating, witnesses said squatters may be responsible for starting the fire.
