The weather this weekend is going to be a treat for central Indiana because there is finally an opportunity to see sunshine both days! However, it is a chilly morning with lows falling into the upper 20s and lower 30s. The clear skies and light winds are also contributing to the formation of heavy frost. If your car was sitting outside overnight, you will need to allow more time to warm it up!
Temperatures will rise a few degrees more compared to Friday when Indy climbed to 45°. Highs today are going to reach into the upper 40s and potentially lower 50s over south-central Indiana this afternoon! Temperatures will be running more than 10° above average for early February.
The high-pressure feature over the Great Lakes Region is going to the keep the area dry through the weekend. We are even tracking quiet weather heading into the new workweek.
