INDIANAPOLIS – Crews responded to a building fire on the west side late Wednesday night.
According to the Wayne Township Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched before 11 p.m. to the 7000 block of West Washington Street.
Crews quickly extinguished a fire at a two-story building connected to a smoke shop. While the shop wasn’t affected, the neighboring structure sustained smoke and fire damage, officials said.
No one was hurt.
The cause remains under investigation, with officials saying no foul play or incendiary materials were suspected.
