BEECH GROVE, Ind. — Beech Grove police are investigating after several shots were fired in the parking lot of Beech Grove High School Tuesday night.
Officers with the Beech Grove Police Department were called to the parking lot of the high school, which is located at 5330 Hornet Avenue, after receiving several calls about shots being heard in the school’s parking lot.
A girl’s sectional basketball game was scheduled at the school at the time when the shots were initially reported. No injuries were reported.
Police confirmed that a suspect is in custody after receiving assistance from witnesses who were already on the scene, BGPD said.
The incident remains under investigation.
