MANILA, Philippines — Tots Carlos led the collective effort of the Creamline Cool Smashers in completing the sweep of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers for their sixth straight Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Finals trip.

The Cool Smashers once again shut down the Crossovers, 26-24, 25-21, 25-21, in Game 2 on Saturday to seal a shot at their fifth All-Filipino crown and seventh PVL title in the 10th finals stint in the last 11 conferences.

MANILA, Philippines — Sisi Rondina poured in 23 points as Choco Mucho lived another day and forced a rubber match against Cignal with a 25-23, 25-22, 25-22, sweep in Game 2 of the 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) second All-Filipino Conference semifinals on Saturday at Philsports Arena.

After absorbing a 25-18 25-23, 14-25, 19-25, 10-15 collapse in their series opener two days ago, Rondina and the Flying Titans made sure not to commit the same mistake as they completed a straight-set win over the HD Spikers in one hour and 33 minutes.

MANILA, Philippines — The Chery Tiggo Crossovers will fight for their lives as they avoid elimination against defending champion Creamline in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference semifinals.

Down 0-1 against a more experienced squad, coach KungFu Reyes reminded his players that the series is not yet over despite a three-set loss in Game 1 on Thursday.

“We told them that we cannot give up until it’s over,” said Reyes, who came off a lengthy talk with his team after their 18-25, 25-27, 22-25 loss.

Cignal had just a day to celebrate as the HD Spikers return to the floor Saturday to gatecrash a blockbuster party reserved for glamour teams Creamline and Choco Mucho.

And that’s not taking anything away from Chery Tiggo, which also has a chance to do the same but will have a really steep trek in doing so.

The HD Spikers, two nights after bouncing back from 0-2 down to cream the Flying Titans, try to finish off Choco Mucho in their side of the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference semifinals and bundle out a team that looked unbeatable until the third set on Thursday.

MANILA, Philippines — A well-rested Alyssa Valdez delivered the big hits for Creamline against the Eya Laure-led Chery Tiggo to move closer to another Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

Sitting out in their last elimination games against Galeries Tower two days before the semifinals series opener, Valdez returned to action and poured in 12 points in Creamline’s 25-18, 27-25, 25-22 victory over Chery Tiggo on Thursday at Philsports Arena.

The three-time PVL Most Valuable Player, who had a right knee injury last year that made her miss the first All-Filipino Conference, admitted that she has to manage her load because she’s not getting any younger.
