MANILA, Philippines—It seems like dropping by Manny Pacquiao’s mansion in Makati has become customary for NBA stars visiting the country.
Pacquiao on Thursday hosted a dinner for Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney, who arrived in Manila Thursday for a promotional tour for a sportswear brand.
Pacquiao, a Warriors fan, and Thompson also played a game of chess.
“All the time. Everyday,” Thompson said in an Instagram video posted by Pacquiao’s wife Jinkee when asked if he plays chess.

Also on Thursday, Pacquiao posted his meeting with Italy coach Gianmarco Pozzecco, who had been wanting to see the eight-division champion since the Italians arrived in the country for the Fiba World Cup more than a week ago.
Pacquiao and Pozzecco also played chess with the 2000s Fighter of the Decade winning.
Last week, another NBA star in Karl-Anthony Towns of the Dominican Republic visited Pacquiao at his home.
