TODAY: Isolated thunderstorms and rain showers will hit mainly across the southern highlands, Magic Valley, SE ID, and western WY.  The rest of the region will only have a slim chance of seeing a shower or two.  Winds will be light overall between 5-10 mph, but could become very breezy within these storms which could bring wind gusts up to 45 mph.  High temperatures go into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s.

TOMORROW: Scattered, widespread thunderstorms will hit the entire region for Wednesday.  Look for storms to be severe with heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts up to 45 mph.  Winds overall though should be light between 5-10 mph.  High temperatures drop a lot down into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s.

LONG TERM: Another day of widespread rain showers continues into Thursday.  Isolated thunderstorms on the northern side of the region will be in store for Friday before we have leftover stray showers left for this weekend.  Dry, sunny conditions then look to return heading into next work week.  Winds will be light for the long term with the exception of strong storm wind gusts.  High temperatures fall again down into the low to upper 70’s for Thursday.  High’s then increase into next weekend and the beginning of next week, but only slowly.  High’s by Monday are into the low to mid 80’s.
