A woman hit by a car last week in the west valley has died, Metro Police said today.
The incident was reported about 8:15 p.m. May 2 on Charleston Boulevard, east of Durango Drive, police said.
The pedestrian was outside of a marked crosswalk when she entered into the path of the car, police said. She was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office today informed police that the pedestrian died, Metro said. Police identified her as Caitlin Finney, 34, of Las Vegas.
The driver, a 42-year-old Las Vegas woman, was not injured, police said. She remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment, police said.
