As spring approaches, the concert scene is picking up as more groups hit the road.
This month’s set of shows shot by ArtsATL concert photographer Perry Julien includes Atlanta’s own Drivin N Cryin and The Bad Ends (the band started by R.E.M.’s Bill Berry and Five Eight’s Mike Mantione) at the Variety Playhouse, and the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for three sold-out shows at Symphony Hall. The orchestra was conducted by Steven Reineke from The New York Pops.
