H&M has burned me more than any other retailer in the sense that too often when I’ve hesitated before making a purchase, it has sold out. The style of the pieces and the price point combine to create a perfect storm of sorts that too often leads to sell outs, which while good for the brand, is a bummer for anyone on the other side of the interaction. Because of this, I’ve tweaked my plan of action when shopping on the site, which basically means that I don’t hesitate when I find something really good. I act.
That is why when I checked H&M‘s homepage yesterday afternoon and saw that its spring edit had dropped, I immediately began scouring every last page of new arrivals.
