MANILA, Philippines—Dave Ildefonso had his best outing so far in the Korean Basketball League on Tuesday.
Ildefonso tallied 10 points, including two 3-pointers, to help the Suwon KT Sonicboom edge Daegu KOGAS Pegasus at KT Arena.
The 6-foot guard also had two rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes, outplaying his former teammate at Ateneo SJ Belangel.
Belangel contributed eight points and two rebounds for Daegu, which dropped to 13-23.
Jarrod Jones powered the Sonicboom (16-20) with 23 points and nine rebounds.
Still without Rhenz Abando, Anyang KGC squeaked past Jeonju KCC Egis, 83-81, at Jeonju Indoor Gymnasium.
Former NBA player Omari Spellman led Anyang with a double-double performance of 34 points and 11 boards to keep KGC atop the KBL standings with 25 wins and 11 losses.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had a double-double of his own, tallying 37 and 11 but KCC Egis tripped to a 16-20 slate.
