After missing time with a shoulder injury, Will Levis returned to the field against the Chargers last week. And while he looked improved as if the rest and watching Mason Rudolph did him some good, he wasn’t well protected and that impacted his play. He was sacked seven times against the Chargers last week, and while some of that is because he chose to hold the ball instead of throw an interception, most of it is because his line continues to struggle.

This week, against the Vikings, Brian Callahan, Nick Holz and Levis himself must pay attention to the packages the Vikings are showing on the field. Getting the offensive line set up appropriately, calling the right blocks and matchups, and not making mistakes will be the keys in making sure Levis stays protected against a solid defensive front.
