SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Multiple agencies, including the FBI, are looking for a woman who went missing on the Rosebud Reservation last month.
Savannah Standing Bear, 22, was last seen in Parmelee, South Dakota on March 24.
Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement are working with the FBI, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Rapid City Police and the United States Attorney’s office.
“There are currently active attempts to find Savannah locally and off reservation,” the tribal law enforcement said in a social media post from April 7.
KELOLAND News reached out to tribal law enforcement for an update on Standing Bear’s case, but did not hear back at the time of posting the story.
Standing Bear was last seen wearing a black shirt, distressed jeans and white Nike shoes. She has a tattoo that says “Loyalty” on her neck.
There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to Standing Bear’s safe return. If anyone has information, they are asked to contact Rosebud law enforcement at 605-856-2282.
