Titans running back Tony Pollard and Packers running back Josh Jacobs are both really good running backs. They are consistently at the top of the rankings, they keep their hands on the ball, and they can both catch a pass as well as bulldoze through defenders. Jacobs has 235 yards rushing over two games and Pollard has 144.

The bigger note to make here, though, is not about the backs themselves, but about the opposing defenses. The Packers’ defense has allowed 284 rush yards to the Titans’ 144. Jacobs might rank higher thank Pollard on the stat line, but he’s facing a tougher defense this week. Whichever team contains the ground game will come out on top as both teams will rely on their running backs this week.
