Mandala Suci Wenara Wana is home to more than a thousand Balinese long-tailed Monkeys. Aside from the monkeys, there are also 3 Temples and about 186 species of plants or trees. The Puri Saren Palace is the official residence of the Royal Family of Ubud. The Ubud Palace has been built in the 1800s and shows Balinese Architecture. Pop in as entrance fees are free and you get to check out the front portion of the place. There are also performances at night showing traditional Balinese Dance, tickets are about IDR 100,000.

If you want to see one of the most breathtaking views in all of Bali, go to Tegalalang Rice Terrace. To get the best views, make sure the rice has not yet been harvested so you could see the green rice fields. The rice paddies here are shaped like stairs, too. As the center of arts in Bali, you need to check out Balinese artworks at museums found in Ubud. Museum Puri Lukisan features one of the best collections of modern traditional Balinese paintings and carvings. There is also Neka Art Museum and Blanco Renaissance Museum which you could enjoy. At the Ubud Art Market, you can support local artists by buying their works and crafts.
