A 4-year-old girl was injured in the leg after gun shots were fired into a home in Chicago’s Far South Side Sunday evening, according to Chicago police.
The shooting took place at the 13400 block of South Carondolet Avenue in the Hegewisch neighborhood at about 5:25 p.m. on Sunday. The girl was one of three victims shot in the shooting, which also included a 23-year-old man who was shot in his right flank and a 20-year-old woman who was hit in her right shoulder.
Shots were fired from outside the home by an unknown individual.
The two adult victims were sent to The University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition. The 4-year-old was sent to Comer Children’s Hospital also in good condition.
No one is in custody.
