A fire near Rapid City, along highway 44 close to Hiesga, has grown from 30-acres to around 150-acres in less than 24 hours. Crews have been working throughout Monday night and all day Tuesday as this fire still sits at zero percent containment, meaning it could still spread.


Sioux Falls Police are asking people to come forward with information on a string of recent shootings. Officers responded to 4 shootings over the holiday weekend. In one case, an 18-year old showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound.


Two girls who were hit by a vehicle while walking to school in Crofton, Nebraska are still in “critical condition,” but doing better, the family says.


Fire weather concerns have been very high in western South Dakota, but better news is coming today.
