SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Four suspects were arrested Saturday morning after following a victim from Inwood all the way to Canton.
According to a post on Facebook, in the early morning hours of March 15, officers from the Canton Police Department were dispatched to Highway 19 near the golf course after receiving a call. The called claimed that a vehicle had been following them since they left their Inwood residence.
The victim informed the dispatch that the suspect vehicle contained four individuals who had previously assaulted him at his home. The suspects had also allegedly used a baseball bat to strike his vehicle, resulting in one window being smashed.
Responding officers successfully intercepted the suspect vehicle at the intersection of E 2nd Street and North Broadway Street. Following a thorough investigation, the four suspects were arrested on charges of Simple Assault, along with various outstanding warrants and Possession of Narcotics.
