When it comes to shopping, the thing that attracts us the most to a garment is color. More than fit, more than silhouette, more than style – it’s color. Now we all have a select set of colors that we tend to gravitate towards when it comes to our personal style. You may be someone who loves chic, minimal, neutral tones or someone who tends to embrace bold colors and has a little bit more fun when it comes to a color pallet. For me, I’m a mix of both.

I’ve always said that my mood determines the way I’m going to dress. Somedays I feel like looking like a ‘90s New York City fashion critic with strong black pieces that emphasize great tailoring and give a nod to the oh-so-fashionable quiet luxury aloofness. Other days I feel like standing out on my commute and will play with fun colors, fabrics, and silhouettes that say “I’m not afraid to take risks.” But there’s one color that I always find myself attracted to, and it’s white. There is something about a great white shirt with the perfect pair of jeans, and I wait every year all fall, winter, and spring long to break out my favorite white jeans and linen pants.

Lately I was doing some digging on dresses my wardrobe desperately needed for spring and summer and noticed, “wow, everything I like is white.” While scrolling through the mountain of white dresses I have on my wishlist I couldn’t help notice I kept saying to myself “this would be great for a bridal shower” or “this would look amazing at a bachelorette party” or “let me save this one for whenever I have my own rehearsal dinner.” As you may have guessed, I’m not even close to walking down the aisle. But I am sort of an expert when it comes to stellar white dresses, and rather than sit on this pile of the chicest white dresses out there I thought just because I’m not getting ready for my big day, doesn’t mean other future brides-to-be should miss out. As someone who doesn’t believe in gatekeeping, I listed out all of the pretty white dresses from the coolest Coperni look to the most romantic Reformation dresses.

Keep scrolling to see which dresses made the cut.
