A 3-year-old girl was grazed by a bullet while inside her home in the Longwood Manor neighborhood early Monday, according to Chicago police.

The girl had been in her home in the 9800 block of South Throop Street at 2:20 a.m. when two men outside “began firing shots into the residence,” according to an online media notification from Chicago police.

She suffered a graze wound on her buttocks and paramedics took her to Comer Children’s Hospital where she had been listed in good condition, according to police.

Authorities did not provide additional information about the shooting, which remains under investigation by detectives.

No arrests had been made as of Monday morning.
