INDIANAPOLIS — A Beech Grove weapons store was once again the target of a burglary by a group of teenagers.

According to a police report from the Beech Grove Police Department, three teenagers were arrested after reportedly attempting to burglarize Beech Grove Firearms, located in the 3000 block of South Emerson Avenue.

The incident was reported as a burglary and motor vehicle theft at the establishment around 5:30 a.m. on Friday. Various items were found at the scene by police, including a ski mask, bolt cutters, glasses and grip gloves.

According to the department, 18-year-old Tyrone Bonner was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary, a Level 5 felony, auto theft, a Level 6 felony, and a misdemeanor criminal trespassing charge. Two other people, identified as 17-year-olds, were also arrested on preliminary charges of burglary, a Level 5 felony, and a misdemeanor criminal trespassing charge.

This comes after a group of teens burglarized the store in May 2023. Officials said at the time that three teens came to the store in a carjacked SUV and entered the store at around 3:11 a.m., smashing multiple glass display cases and taking nearly 50 firearms.
