INDIANAPOLIS — Three Indianapolis residents have been sentenced to federal prison in relation to their involvement in eight armed robberies of Central Indiana cell phone retailers in late 2021.
According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana, 20-year-old Quintez Tucker and 21-year-old D’Maurah Bryant pleaded guilty to their involvement in the incidents in April 2024.
The release said that 21-year-old Robdarius WIlliams was found guilty of his involvement after a trial in June 2024.
The three individuals were sentenced to the following federal prison time:
- Quintez Tucker
- 30 years in prison
- Three years of supervised release
- $64,894 in restitution
- Pleaded guilty to:
- Eight counts of robbery
- Four counts of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence
- D’Maurah Bryant
- 25 years in prison
- Three years of supervised release
- $24,485 in restitution
- Pleaded guilty to:
- Four counts of robbery
- Three counts of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence
- Robdarius Williams
- 9.5 years in prison
- Three years of supervised release
- Was found guilty on the following charges:
- One count of robbery
- One count of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

From Nov. 8, 2021, through Dec. 3, 2021, Tucker and Bryant robbed eight cell phone retailers, demanding cash, cell phones and accessories from each store from employees and customers at gunpoint. The release said Williams joined in the final armed robbery as the getaway driver, stole a license plate for the vehicle and took Tucker to pick up a weapon that was used in the robbery.
The following locations were robbed in a 25 day span:
- Nov. 8, 2021: Verizon location on Olio Rd. in Fishers
- Nov. 18, 2021: T-Mobile location on Southport Rd.
- Nov. 23, 2021: Verizon location on Kessler Blvd.
- Nov. 26, 2021: T-Mobile location on E 86th Rd.
- Nov. 29, 2021: T-Mobile location on Fox Rd.
- Dec. 1, 2021: T-Mobile location on E Stop 11 Rd.
- Dec. 1, 2021: T-Mobile location on W 38th St.
- Dec. 3, 2021: AT&T location on S Emerson Ave.
“No one should have a gun pointed in their face by heartless criminals simply because they went shopping, or went to work,” Zachary A. Myers, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, said in the release. “These armed criminals terrorized their victims with utter disregard for the consequences of their actions—going so far as to point an AR-style firearm at a toddler as their parent shielded the child with their body. These horrific crimes will not be tolerated in our community.”
