Three people were injured in a stabbing attack at a Los Angeles hospital Friday, police said.
Cops said the suspect was barricaded in a room, with officers outside, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The three injured people included a doctor and two nurses, according to the L.A. Times. They were taken to a trauma center in critical condition at Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a 15-minute drive north.
The attack was reported around 3:45 p.m. at Encino Hospital Medical Center, about 15 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Two days earlier at a hospital in Tulsa, four people were killed in a shooting. The gunman was reportedly targeting a surgeon he was upset with. Police did not speculate on a motive for Friday’s attack.
