Three men were injured, and one is in serious condition, following a shooting in the Lakeview neighborhood early Sunday morning, Chicago police said.
The men were walking on the sidewalk in the 600 block of West Barry Avenue around 12:50 a.m. when shots were fired in their direction, according to police. A man of unknown age was transported by the Chicago Fire Department to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition with gunshot wounds in his back and chest.
A 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his right leg and a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his back were also transported to Illinois Masonic by the fire department. They were both listed in good condition by police.
There is no one in custody. Area Three detectives are investigating.
