OSHP: 3 dead after head-on collision in Clermont County
Three people have died in a head-on collision in Clermont County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.Troopers say the crash happened around 8:52 a.m. Sunday on State Route 125 at milepost 11 in Tate Township.Official say preliminary investigation shows a 2016 Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on SR 125 when it crossed over the centerline and hit a 2004 Toyota Corolla.Officials say three people – Deborah Mell, 66, the driver of the Civic; Jeffery Champan, 35, the driver of the Corolla; and Racheal Miller, 34, a passenger in the Corolla – all sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.Troopers say Mell was wearing a seatbelt. Chapman and Miller, officials say, were not.The crash remains under investigation by troopers.
