The Tennessee Titans face a tough task in Week 8 when they travel to Michigan to face the Detroit Lions. The Lions lead the NFC East with a 5-1 record, and they’re doing it with an established team run by passionate blue-collar coach Dan Campbell.

The Titans are at the bottom of the AFC East where even the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars have a better record. The Titans are already starting to rebuild, trading DeAndre Hopkins and Ernest Jones IV earlier this week. The locker room morale is down, players are frustrated, and it shows on the field.

This week, there are three player prob bets, via BetMGM, that are worth consideration.

RB David Montgomery OVER 55.5 yards rushing

Detroit running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs have split carries all season, and if you look at the team’s history, you’ll see that the Lions alternate which one of them has the most yards that game. This week, it’s Montgomery’s turn. He averages 63.7 yards per game or 4.5 yards per carry, and there’s no reason to think he won’t do that on Sunday. Even Gibbs could hit his over, which is 63.5, on top of Montgomery hitting his.

Syndication: The Record

QB Jared Goff OVER 237.5 passing yards

Last week, Buffalo Bills quarterback Jared Allen shredded the Titans’ secondary for 323 yards and two touchdowns. There’s really no reason to think that Jared Goff will do anything different this week, even with one of his receivers suspended. Amon-Ra St. Brown will carry the load, but Goff has Sam LaPorta, Tim Patrick, and both running backs are capable of catching passes. The Titans’ secondary doesn’t have an answer for the Lions passing game.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown OVER 75.5 receiving yards

Amon-Ra St. Brown already averages 66.8 yards per game while sharing receptions with Jameson Williams who averages 60.2 receiving yards per game. Without Williams, who is suspended, St. Brown’s touches will increase. And, against a Titans’ secondary that has struggled this season, he will have no trouble getting the ball down the field.
