INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan police arrested three people following a carjacking that ended in a crash early Wednesday morning.
This started around 3:20 a.m. with a traffic stop, according to the police run. It ended with a car crashing into a tree at 61st Street and Michigan Road.
According to IMPD, the incident involved a carjacking by three individuals. Police located the vehicle, and three suspects were apprehended after the crash.
All three were treated by medical personnel and arrested, police said, and investigators recovered three firearms. The IMPD K9 Unit assisted in the case.
The incident remains under investigation.
