DAKOTA DUNES S.D. (KELO) — A second person is facing charges in connection to the death of Jordan Beardshear.
According to a social media post from the South Sioux City Police Department, Reyna Castellanos is charged with Accessory to Murder and more. South Sioux City police say she was arrest yesterday. Reyna’s husband, Alfredo Castellanos-Rosales, is accused of killing Beardshear in April of 2023.
Authorities believe Castellanos lied about knowing her husbands involvement and that she helped him escape to Mexico.
Castellanos-Rosales was arrested in Mexico on May 12th of 2023 and was expelled from the country.
He was held by authorities and extradited back to South Dakota, where he is currently in custody and awaiting trial.
