Paying for college isn’t easy, but scholarships can help keep students out of debt. Apply for Everything

OK, maybe not everything, but it’s best to apply for scholarships early and often. When the criteria is simple, these scholarship committees will receive many applications. So, get them in as early as possible and move on to the next one. 

Create a New Email Account

When applying for these easy scholarships, applicants are usually opted in to mailing lists that provide updates on the scholarship. Keep everything well-organized and in one place by having a separate email account just for communications about scholarships. 

Watch Out for Scams

Scammers know that students are desperate for money, so there are some sketchy things going on out there. Always take a few minutes to research an organization before submitting personal information to make sure they are reputable.
