LAWRENCE COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) — One person was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday evening, 10 miles south of Spearfish.
The Department of Public Safety says the driver of the motorcycle was traveling on U.S. Highway 14A, near mile marker 21 when he couldn’t make a left-hand curve.
The 22-year-old man lost control and left the roadway down into a wooden embankment. The driver suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
