The 2022 Honors Recital and Dean’s Award winner on March 8 was Sung-Eun Ryu. Dr. Wade Weast, Dean of the College of the Arts, and Dr. Chester Phillips, Director of the School of Music, were at hand to present Ms. Ryu with the well-deserved award. Ms. Ryu is from the piano studio of Dr. Sergio Gallo.
The Honors Recital and Dean’s Award showcases the School of Music’s most accomplished soloists selected by audition before an outside jury. Through a highly selective audition process, the recital’s participants are determined.
Joining Ms. Ryu were seven equally talented students selected to perform in the 2022 Honors Recital for their outstanding performances, hard work, and dedication.
