A shooter gunned down two people outside an Iowa church on Thursday evening.
The shooter also died at the scene, according to police.
Cops responded to the scene at Cornerstone Church on the southeast outskirts of Ames around 6:50 p.m.
Police did not provide any details of the shooting or identify anyone involved as of Thursday night.
The Story County Sheriff’s Office said there was no longer a threat to the public.
