INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis metro police are investigating after two people arrived at an Indianapolis hospital suffering from gunshot wounds Tuesday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 8:30 p.m. to the Community East Hospital, which is located at 1500 N Ritter Avenue, in response to a walk-in person shot run.
Officers arrived and found two victims with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Both victims are currently in stable condition, according to IMPD.
Police have not yet confirmed where the shooting is believed to have originally taken place. The circumstances that led to the shooting also remain under investigation.
