SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Authorities have identified the two people killed in a crash eight miles northeast of Aberdeen.
The Department of Public Safety says an SUV was traveling westbound on Brown County Road 13 near the intersection of 393rd Avenue. The SUV left the roadway and entered the ditch, then vaulted off the shoulder at the intersection. The SUV rolled and the two people in the vehicle were ejected.
The driver, 37-year-old Zachary Deen Rathert, and the passenger, 36-year-old Kyle Anthony Tempel, both received fatal injuries.
